Born in Bangladesh and raised in Miami, Puspa Majumder, is a self taught artist who finds joy in creating artwork that is up for interpretation and for the viewer to dissect. She found her love for art at a young age as it was a way for her to express her emotions growing up in a Bangladeshi household. She loves expressing her thoughts and ideas on canvas using whimsical colors and shapes. She is yet to find her own art style, but when she does it will represent her true self.

In my art, I like to capture the essence of being alive and the emotions behind it. I like to provoke thoughts and listen to others point of view. I believe that is what fuels my imagination. My work explores the relationship between the body and the consciousness within or the spirit of existence.
